Stuff

I watched Bonekickers on the iPlayer. It looks to me as if if features as much real archaeology as Doctor Who features real physics. Oh, it also features Martha's sister as audience exposition. It'd the sort of thing where there might be an actual true fact in there, but you can't tell amidst all the fantasy, so you have to remember where it comes from so you don't quote it as fact.

The meme that comes round every so often: Choose one of my fics and I'll do a DVD-style commentary for it.

I'm kind of on the side of Bonekickers, even if it does occasionally make me shriek irrelevant historical facts at the screen. I just like shows which combine pretty scenery with completely mad conspiracy theories, and also I would watch Hugh Bonneville read the shipping forecast, which helps.

Was she Martha's sister? Thank you! I knew I'd seen her somewhere before, but I just kept thinking 'I know you think that's Chipo Chung, but that's not Chipo Chung' in an unhelpful and repetitive manner.

I knew I recognised her from somewhere! Also a rather aged Mr Bennet, the guy from Hustle and some doll with a Nor'n Irish accent whose name I can't remember. It seemed fun enough, from what I saw, but rather silly...as guessed from the name =)

Oh, could you bring home any DVDs I left up there? Think P&P may be on the shelf in my bedroom. Thanks!
