Excellent story! I really liked seeing them say good-bye properly.

I'm going to blame the writer's strike for the short thrift they got on the show. There just weren't enough episodes to do a good-bye scene between Don and Megan justice, so they didn't do it at all. (I actually prefer that to having them do a BAD farewell scene.)
