Oh, I see what you mean. Some fics, even long ones, have them as quite generic. I was actually iffy about the Yiddish, because I'm always a little nervous about writing them as explicitly Jewish, because I'm not, and yet they are, and you can't just ignore it, especially with Don. I'm glad it worked for you :)
