The Beast Below

  • Why did the Doctor even bother telling Amy not to get involved? He has to know that he would hold out for all of 15 seconds, as in the event it proved.
  • Amy carries lockpicks in her nightie?
  • And she's already wondering whether she want/will go through with her wedding. Oh dear.
  • Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope! And then they land in the garbage compacter (aka Lancashire :)).
  • Amy looks TimeLord. I like Eleven's dealing with the 'where are the other Timelords?' question; less emo than Ten.
  • I like Amanda.
  • Amy is now 13006, heh.
  • How does a mouth have an eject button? Think about it! Heh.
  • The monarchy with guns and a highwayman cloak and boots. I like.
  • Oi, Moff! You swiped the concept of The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas! Never mind, at least you borrow quality when you borrow.
  • Lobotomising the star whale the worst thing he's done, enough to make him not the Doctor any more? When you remember some of the things Ten did? Ah well, good to see a Doctor who doesn't think he's the Lonely Emo God.
  • Eeep, Eleven is a bit scary when he's angry. Perhaps it's because Nine was a grumpy old so-and-so anyway, and Ten was more emotional all round, but it's more startling when Eleven snapped at Amy like that.
  • Clever, empathic Amy, to see the parallel between the Doctor and the star whale.
  • A kind Doctor? I'll go with that. Lovely, lovely sequence. "Gotcha." Yes, you did.
  • Yes, Amelia, the Doctor ran away too. And is still running.
  • Matt Smith makes a good Doctor, and Amy is great. I approve of this Team TARDIS.
  • Next week, the traditional historical. The Doctor calls Churchill "dear". lawl. WWII might make up for the Daleks for the 100th time. And have they changed the end credits?
