Out of interest...

I pronounce it to rhyme with 'cause' when I'm speaking 'browad Ulster', and with 'cars' when I have my faux-English accent on.

'Vase' in an English accent rhymes with 'cars' in an English accent. Not in Norn Irn. I was catering to the English, ne?
