If he's SEKRITLY nine, that would kind of explain why Mara doesn't seem to age either. Maybe they're both Immortal Highlanders, those don't age, and are prone to falling for stupid plot devices, which would fit. Did anyone cut off her head and make sure?
Not sure, the summary I read was not all that detailed and more inclined to the lolarious. Knowing the EU, the book consisted of unintentionally hilarious sultanas in a matrix of sawdust.

I say good riddance to her. I gave up on the EU after that crappy Courtshit (not a typo) of Princess Leia but I am tempted to read this just to laugh. LOL
I was expecting mega-wank as the bashers gloated and the fen rose up in arms. Possibly the bashers are gloating in SEKRIT, or perhaps fandom is sick to the teeth of the Mara Wars. (There's hope for the Harmoanians yet, perhaps.)

Perhaps SW fandom is too diffuse (compared to HP, the wankiest fandom in the world, it doesn't have much of a centre), or perhaps only 18 die-hard Mara-lovers are continuing to read the EU.
