I thought for a minute that I had come to DeadJournal or something by mistake.

Clocks have gone back and I'm now walking home in the dark, ugh.

ETA: is 'ground beef' not American-speak for mince? If so, on pizza?

Isn't good, is it?
I've got this excellent headband with light.
Works very well along with fluorescent jacket

Ground beef and mincemeat are not the same thing. From what I understand, mincemeat has fruit and spices in it. Unless by "mince" you just mean chopped up very small, then yes, it could be the same. (Though I've never heard anyone refer to meat this way.)

Haha. It must be the same then. We usually use the term "mince" to refer to chopping something, usually garlic, onion, ginger, etc., very small.

Yes, ground beef is mince. People put very strange things on pizza these days (I have seen at least one takeaway offering a doner kebab pizza!)

I have had mince on pizza. I do not recommend it. Mind, I once had an English breakfast pizza with black pudding, and so long as you didn't think about it being pizza, it was really rather good.
