I've actually heard people say 'the Malfoys are better parents than the Weasleys' because Lucius buys the team brooms and complains about the Hippogryff incident. Never mind that he's off passing a demon diary to an eleven-year-old and attempting murder of teenagers, because he looks out for his own son, that makes it all good.
