Am I the only person who thought that the Weasleys might think that Fleur had been using her Veela attraction and Bill and that was why the relationship went so fast? Ron certainly still goes all wibbly around her. I didn't think it was just FrenchBitchZMGBBQ!1

Ron failing his Apparition because he left half his eyebrow behind, LOL! It's comforting to those of us who have failed our driving tests.

Lavender is a chav! That gold 'My Sweetheart!' necklace! LOL.

In the ITV interview '- Jk says that Ravenclaw will have their day *taps nose*'
Yay 'Claws! (I'm one, you know). Does this mean more Luna? Yay!

Also, is anyone else not getting comment notifications by email? HP has broken LJ!!

Aye, I think that the Weasleys might have thought that. Though it seemed that Ron's hormones hit a fair Mt. Everest-sized spike over the summer. Since when did he have a crush on Rosmerta?

*shall take driving test in a month's time* Damn.

*laughs* I took it more like, "OMG, golden CHAIN?? Kinky slave play much??" before I took the opportunity to wash my brain out in cold water.

I don't know--Veela attraction seems to have fairly obvious symptoms. That is, men under Veela-spells that we've seen have been a) in their teens (Arthur's not affected and I think we're supposed to get that adult men are usually not), and b) acting in an obviously silly manner, with mouths hanging open and eyes glazed and that kind of thing. So it seems to me that if Bill were under a Veela-spell, the Weasleys would be able to tell right off--and he's probably too old to be susceptible to Veela charms in any case.

And the Weasleys didn't complain about Fleur being part-veela or even hint anything like that. They said and implied that she was an arrogant airhead, not that Bill was acting under coercion.

Besides, Veela attraction doesn't seem like the kind of thing that can last for over a year when a poke in the shoulder can snap you out of it. Especially since Fleur's only a quarter-veela.

Hm, I think the Weasleys were less worried about "OMG, Veela!" and more about Fleur being a superficial airhead. Note how Mrs Weasley came around when Fleur still loved Bill even after the werewolf messed up his handsome face (thus proving that she isn't superficial).
