What sort of fanfic writer are you?

Nobody will find a single mistake in your fics--not
a spelling error, not a grammar error, and
especially not a canonical mistake! You'd
probably be mortified at so much as even a
comma out of place. You work hard on your fics,
and does it ever show! Your plots are complex
and intelligent, and your characters are almost
perfect replicas of their canon counterparts.
Yours are the kind of fanfics people can get
lost in, and even forget they're not reading
the real thing! Thanks for writing such great
stuff. Just remember it's okay to losen up a
little.

Traumatised

I know I should be revising. I have an exam tomorrow afternoon. But last night I dreamed I was reading Order of the Phoenix, and it was H/H and Ginny was dead. Gah! All it needed was to be Ron/Draco to make my misery complete! Then I woke up.

And this afternoon I fell asleep over my revision, and I dreamt the Luke/Leia sproglet dream again. My subconscious is out of order.

*Gathers the gang plus Mary Sue together*
Me: Leia, you belong with Han. Luke, you are with Mary. You two are twins! Stop breeding!
Luke: If you wrote me with Leia we wouldn't be. As long as you don't put me with *shudders* Mara.
Han: Hey, what about me!?
Mary: And me! We've got to stop this..you get Leia, I'll get Luke.
Han: Hey, I could have you...
Mary: No! I'm useless at witty banter! I'm only funny accidently! I'd drive you up the walls!
Leia: Oy!
Mary: Make up your mind, Leia...
Leia: Besides, you'd be a Mary Sue when you're with Han-
Luke: And she's not when she's with me?
Me: ....
Leia: Just think how mad it would make the H/L fans-
Luke: You're going to annoy either the H/L or the *shudders again* L/M fans...
Me: There are only two L/M fans I give a stuff about..there are too many H/L fans to be counted.
Han: Oh yes!
Me: It would make the Luke/Leia people happy, but I only know 2-and-a-half of them...

It's a funny thing that I'm a diehard canon shipper--I shipped H/G from CoS, and R/Hr from GoF, never wavered once, because they seem so obvious--and yet I can see a ship which is totally discounted by the 'twin ssssissster' thing. *wonders what the fact Sirius/Remus is the only slash ship that makes any sense to me means, in the light of this*

Could be because JKR has it all planned from the start, while Lucus, bless his flannel shirt, was winging it? I mean, in ANH, who would say Luke and Leia are meant to be siblings?? You didn't know which man Leia would go for. And Fisher and Hamill couldn't look less alike...they certainly weren't cast to be twins. Though Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman really make a family resemblance. (Hayden looks a little bit like Mark Hamill and a little like Carrie Fisher, while Natalie looks like Hamill, bar the colouring.) Inspired casting--and the fact Hayden is a brilliant actor and not at all bad-looking is good too. :P
