(no subject)

I had a good time with Gillian on Wednesday. Phil and Brian were there, and we spent a good bit of the conversation talking about houses, weddings etc, and every so often vrying out, "Hey! Look at us talking like grown-ups!" Then we would go and talk about programming and Phil showed off his collection of Doctor Who ringtones. I'm quite hyped about the new series, even though the plot of the first episode stank. I fear I may be developing a crush on Ten.

I tried the new level for accont status (more features+ads), but I don't know if I'll stick with it. It messes with my journal layout rather. Also, life is too short and internet time to limited to waste downloading graphic ads.

Tooth and Claw

People from the UK, you know the way your National insurance number goes letter letter, loads of numbers, letter? Well, on my payslip from the new agency, they've changed that last letter of mine from a C to an A. I'm pretty sure I wrote C on the form. Does that last letter somehow not count, or am I paying someone else's tax, NI and student loan?
