I hope all of you over on the mainland are all right. We seemed to get the worst of the wind during the night, and even that wasn't too bad; our slates, which were mended last week, are mostly still on and there were no big branches down on the road down to the town. Of course, practically all the loose ones must have come down in the gales in the autumn.
