So we see Torchwood next week! (What about Jack?) The EVOL TORCHWOODERS take the TARDIS! (They do seem to be losing her a lot this series, one way and another, don't they?)

So it looks as though the Cybermen in this one are the same as the other Cybermen earlier one. Does this mean we get more of Mickey and Pete, I wonder? Or are they dead in the AU? (Woe!)

Was that a Dalek extermination I saw??? Goodness, they are racking up the baddies. Perhaps that's why they had that Oncoming Storm reference this week.

Rose seems to be narrating something. 'The is the last story I'll ever tell.' So perhaps she's not going to die? Jackie seems to be doing a lot of panicking—perhaps it's her, then? I don't want either of them to die.

Oh, Rooooooooseeeee! You can be really annoying sometimes, but I don't want you to die! You ought to go on and have a fantastic life doing stuff and having an ex-companion club with Sarah Jane!



We're so close to the end! I'll be having Ten withdrawal symptoms in a fortnight.

What is Torchwood?

Torchwood is the recurring theme of this series. It was set up by Queen Victoria to guard the British Empire against alien menaces.

I liked it this week; on of the best episodes of the series IMO.

I'm of the opinion that Rose will die because of what she said about them never being split up. Those aren't the words of a character who's ready to leave the TARDIS. What other option, for an exit, is there, other than that and death?

I reckon Mickey makes a comeback, possibly as the Doctor's new assistant after Rose.

Whatever happens, it's going to be a good one...

Mickey, Jake and Pete are all visible in one shot if you pause it right, behind Jackie, Rose, and the Doctor. Which means we get the Big Family Reunion. I don't know whether to be worried or excited.

Rose isn't going to die. Not with this much "Doomed! DOOMED, I SAY!" going on. I'm calling apparent death and return sometime towards the end of S3 to do at least a guest spot and possibly several eps in S3/4...FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE! Then she can go and have a fantastic life. If only 'cause it would be so completely wrong for the character to die. She sacrificed herself already.

Randomly here from new_who - Did anyone think that Rose at the beginning looks different to normal!Rose? Just...a little younger and more sombre.

I wish they hadn't done that. I want Rose to grown up and have a journey as a character, not be killed off becasue she's Too Speshul To Live. Grrr.

I'll be interested to see Pete and Jackie meet up. But Rose's family reunions never turn out well—if this one does, we'll know she's dead.
