It's very saddening not to have anything to watch tomorrow night. I don't want to wait until Christmas for more Doctor Who. And I don't know when I'm going to see PotC either.

I notice with disapproval that the default price for a new paperback seems to have jumped from £6.99 to £7.99. I remember when it was £4.99 or £5.99!!

I'm feeling sad about that too. I think myself and Mr A. are planning a weekend marathon of all the episodes. (But we stupidly deleted Impossible Planet/Satan Pit, so can't do it this weekend.)

I remember when cassette tapes were £5.99, by gum!

About 15 of my "bought-new" paperbacks are inscribed 2/6! Granted that they are fairly shabby, and that most of those that I bought then have been long ago replaced.
