Numb3rs 5.15: Guilt Trip

I liked seeing Robin in the courtroom. She really is believable as a prosecution lawyer. Also, Feds in suits. Intercutting the trial with the flashbacks to the crime worked well too, I thought.
And Charlie teaching. Hydrophilic spheres, hee.
Whenever Nikki is being the voice of reason and cool-headedness, you know Don's in trouble.
I liked Don saying he'd tell Robin if she didn't make a good case, and correcting 'I lost' to 'We lost'.
Jury consultants? Whut? Also, Nikki the politician? Just, no. Not nearly smooth enough.
I liked Spike's crack about Don's gas-guzzler. And him pointing out how predictable Don is being. Oh, Don. Why must you always confront them when you take it personally? One of these days one of them will light out to Mexico.
Alan's on Facebook, heh heh heh. I wonder if Charlie has even actually played Scrablous. I'm guessing not, given his issues with spelling. Nice to see the curls growing out.
Oh, Charlie, preventing the crime from ever happening...all crimes, ever? Interesting to see him following where Don has been going the last couple of seasons.
Poor David, wishing for a surprise party behind an ominously open door. I feel like we haven't seen him and Colby working together for a while; it's good to see it. And I'm sure David was entirely convinced by Colby's threat to shoot him if he ordered Colby to get his coffee.
Matt the tech is back too!
Aw, that was a sweet scene with Robin and Alan. I like how Don and Robin rendezvous at the house of Eppes even though Don doesn't actually live there.
I laughed out loud when Robin said she couldn't go to the judge with an equation, and Don said 'Welcome to my life'.
And, surprise surprise, Spike has done a runner. Colby speaking Spanish for the win! And David speaks "scarpered to Costa Rica".
What's up with Don being snippy to David? Still with the trust issues? I thought he was over that.
Charlie's doing an awful lot of soft science in this episode....
Yes, Colby, you are a roast beef kind of guy. (Just wait until she isn't a witness in a murder case, mmkay?)
And Colby and David doing what they do best, chasing a baddie.
I love Robin in interrogation. She's just so calm and confident.
Aw, Charlie calling in his favours for Don. I like Don's groan at the thought of owing the NSA.
"Pack sunscreen." *giggles at the thought of Don on a beach*
So Nikki does have ambitions of some kind. Hey, nothing wrong with David and Colby's mugs. Where could you hope to find better-looking ones?
And Colby gets a date! Mark the calendar, it's an historic occasion!
I want to freeze-frame Don's letter of recommendation to see what he said about David.
I really liked that scene at the end with Don and Robin. They are so alike, they way they both have that drive for justice. I liked that Don's in a good enough place that he can try to comfort her. And I thought the reference to scripture fitted well--it would be yuk if they dropped that storyline now. It's just something that's part of Don's mindset now, without it being a giant plot issue.
And baby brother has the family bug too. Er, Charlie, obssessive a little? Be interesting to see what they do with this storyline.
