owl: Charlie Eppes + Amita Ramanujan = geeky love (CharlieAmita)

  • I was worried at the start of the episode that Amita had said no to Charlie, because they were avoiding each other, but after Charlie had gone around all episode grinning like an idiot and trying to spill the beans (asking Colby for women advice, really, Charlie), I pretty much worked out that she had said yes. I'm a bit disappointed we didn't actually get to see that scene, though.

  • I like Don with his hair slightly longer, but this is getting into Dr Joel territory. Also, Charlie, shave, although after the last couple of stubbly seasons I suppose that's a lost case.

  • Goodness, I wasn't expecting Don's scar to be that big. No wonder he's a little hesitant about jumping into a shootout. I kind of miss the younger Don too sometimes.

  • It takes Charlie half an episode to realise that someone was shooting at him. <3

  • And he's still worrying about his place in the world. Isn't 34 a little young for a midlife crisis? I suppose if you start your career at 16...

  • Didn't like Polk from the start. Too smarmy. I like Don's story about being the man in the boat wondering why Polk won't get in.

  • Ah, hate the suicide by cop ones. Poor Colby. I'm glad Colby and David are telling the story to the reporter.

  • Liked the ending scene, with Charlie miffed that his news wasn't actually news, and Don making the 'eyes on you' gesture at Charlie, and hugging, and Don and Charlie grinning at each other over the champagne.

  • The shootout reminded me of Uncertainty Principle. Woking out who shot who was a little confusing, though. I suppose that was the point of the plot.

  • Ouch at the montage of our Fedcakes arriving to the scene too late and bending over the bodies.

  • More backstory for Don? Isn't his timeline a little crowded already?

  • Hand in late papers? I think it's just an excuse to go crawling about in the steam tunnels. I love that Alan and Larry had to get rescued by Charlie and Amita.
  • The subplot about the bet was hilarious, especially David and Colby's efforts to get dates. Come on, boys, there's a whole fandom for you out there, stop wasting your times with a porn ring you busted!

  • Jordan Farmar comes back to collect. I like Charlie carefully pointing out that Amita is taken. By him. LOL, CalSci haven't won another game since.

  • Don is still angsting about his career. Wonder if he's going to end up in a desk job sometime soon? I hope not, he looks too good in Kevlar. Liked the scene in the training range.

  • Larry's leaving again? Noes. And leaving his work to Charlie, whut?

  • Oh, Don. Oh, poor Donnie. His face when he was standing there watching Pete reload his gun and tell him to go for centre mass, and then is 'Ah, Petey,' as he slides down the wall, crying...stop using Don as a suicide weapon, people!

  • LOL Colby and David. I would say that Nikki is not going to let them live this one down, except her date just went so horrendously that they'll never let her live it down.

  • Aw, Don's hand shaking as he hangs the dead agents' photos on the wall. Where's Robin this season? He's clearly in need of some comfort.

first there was MAD...now, there is MAS (mutually assured silence)
:D

Amita had a strange look on her face when Charlie told Farmar that she was taken. (then again, I'm not good with readng facial expressions)
