I watch TV

Day of the Triffids - that was reasonably enjoyable, and not terribly changed from the book. I suppose they had to jazz up the triffids for good TV, but I was not enamoured of the clutching tentacles. For me, a large part of the scariness of the triffids was their slow relentlessness in the face of the newly blinded humans. They might be slower than you, but there are more of them and they don't stop.
End of Time - What? No, really, what? Every time RTD tries to do a bigger and better finale, he just gets sillier and sillier. At least this is the final one.
The fact that the Master is played by John Simm is the only thing that kept my disbelief even an inch off the ground for his scenes. And yes, an entire planet of John Simms is OOT, hard as that may seem to believe. And what's with marrying off Donna as well?
Hamlet - Possibly I should try and mark out a Hamlet-sized chunk of time before this goes off iPlayer, because I don't think it's working in little bits.
