Playing with my layout...

I have an A/P background with matching icon. So pretty. I've been feeling the A/P loff a lot lately, hence layout. I'd like a Luke one, but the promo photos of Hayden and Natalie on that dark grey background are a lot easier to make layouts/wallpapers out of.
Should be printing stuff for my chalk and talk, but this is way more fun!

There's a HTML thing you can do so the background image doesn't scroll and repeat... I know next to nothing about LJ styles, but in standard HTML/CSS it's pretty simple (http://www.netmechanic.com/news/vol5/css_no23.htm). And if you make the background that same gray and do a wee bit with the fuzzy brush to the image so the borders are the same color, it should be fairly seamless.

I don't really mind the scrolling, rather like it in fact. The layout may look a bit empty in the middle on a 1024x768 monitor, but I'm on 800x600 at the minute. If it looks too wick on the uni computers I'll change the page width every weekend I'm home ;)

I rarely surf with the browser at full 1152x870, so it doesn't look too empty... I was referring more to the vertical repetition... Pet peeve of mine, I guess.

I fixed that, though. I think it does look better, or maybe it's just cool to see the entries gliding over the picture! The lab computers run Mozilla, so we'll see how it looks on those.
