There's a huge chunk of you out there whose LJs I read every day - but in a lot of cases, I don't know how old a lot of you are, or where you live, or basic, normal things.

This is the problem with LJ - we all think we are so close, and while we know about the day-to-day, there's still a lot we don't know about each other. So let's rectify it.

I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. I promise, I will not make fun of you, or say who asked what; I won't divulge any social security numbers and stuff, but I'll try to answer everything - personal, fandom - whatever.

I then invite you to do the same. Remember, seriously basic stupid questions, don't be embarrassed, you would be really shocked what I don't know about you.

I'd like you to tell me a little bit about your faith. I'd guess from the fact that your family apparently has a lot of Bibles that you were raised Christian, but why have you decided to follow the Christian faith yourself?

Yes, you're right, my family are Christians. I was a covenant child, went to church and Sabbath school. I never had a dramatic, road-to-Damascus, bells and whistles experience of conversion. I remember being about four and kneeling on my little colourblock coverlet and praying to be made a Christian.
Before I became a communicant when I was seventeen I did a lot of thinking about my faith and what it meant in my life because I didn't want to take communion not knowing that.
Studying science I think is a good thing because it makes you think hard about everything, not just your subject (at least it should!) I find that my faith enriches it. :)
