Take the quiz: "WHAT RELIGION BESTS SUITS YOU?"

True Christian
You are humble, gracious, kind and extremely Christ-like. [Thank you!] You believe in the Bible as your law [yes], but read it in its original language [No, unfortunately]. Perhaps you're not a scholar, but you're not an armature [?amateur] either. You normally don't feel church is acceptable for your form of worship [No, I do], and if anyone believes different[ly] from you, you might try to learn something from them.
I also scored 1 for Fundamentalist Christain (I imagine it's because my church sings only Psalms a cappela in worship) and 2 for Average Chrisain.

ar·ma·ture (ärm-chr, -chr)
n.
Electricity.
The rotating part of a dynamo, consisting essentially of copper wire wound around an iron core.
The moving part of an electromagnetic device such as a relay, buzzer, or loudspeaker.
A piece of soft iron connecting the poles of a magnet.
Biology. A protective covering, structure, or organ of an animal or a plant, such as teeth, claws, thorns, or the shell of a turtle.
A framework serving as a supporting core for clay sculpture.
I'm glad I'm none of those!

Date: 2004-07-22 05:31 pm (UTC)I have to agree on the 'terribly bizarre.' I'm a member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), which as a faith focuses far more strongly on Jesus's life and teachings than on his death and resurrection. We believe that the inner light of christ shines in every person, and that he lived and died for all of God's children, which is where our peace testimony comes from. Most Friends are of one mind that as long as you are trying to lead a good, moral life, and be kind to your neighbors, God won't mind terribly being called by another name while you go about it. And by the same token, if you aren't walking the walk, it doesn't mater how loudly you talk the talk.
...which wound up with me coming out as 'new age/wiccan.' Weird.
