Is it just my other-side-of-the-Atlantic perspective, or is Kerry's main campaign point Not Being George W. Bush? The BBC are being very rude, calling him 'boring' (as compared with Clinton), and saying he talks like Eeyore, which in my opinion is unkind but true.

Also, I want to see Revenge of the Sith NOW! I'll have to stop reading spoilers, they whet my appetite too much. And I want to read Half Blood Prince.

That does seem to be Kerry's main message. Although given the fact that Bush's message seems to be "KERRY'S A TRAITOR OMG TERRORISTS!!1", that might not be such a bad thing.

American politics. It's like kindergarten, in a way.

From this side of the Atlantic, it's not just you. ;) I think whoever the Democratic candidate was, he would have "I'm not George W. Bush" as his main campaign slogan, Bush being such a controversial figure.

Gore talked more like Eeyore than Kerry does, but... :p

The media is pretty rude here, and it's just going to get worse before November I'm afraid.
