My tidiness

owlI just tidied my bedroom, whch in the current state of affairs translates to running the hoover over the floor, and removing downstairs all the books that make their way under my bed (my Bible, three Star Wars X-wing novels, four Harry Potters, Falconer's Lure, Gaudy Night and a couple of Agatha Christies and Hornblowers). In this weather the upper rooms have and all-pervading misasma of moisture which books are as well out of. Lieutenant Hornblower was all damp and floppy, singularly appropriate really.
On the library computer today,I found to my distrees that Peter's Room, just published by Girls Gone By, went out of print again within a week while I was offline! How I wish for the modem back again! Apparently the container has gone via Rotterdam (the busiest port in the world according to my brother's Guiness Book of Records) and will not be in Belfast till the 4th of November.
