DALEK

Wow. I think this was my new favourite episode. When the Dalek said 'EXTERMINATE' I nearly feel off the seat.

I actually felt sorry for the Dalek. When it opened itself up to look at the sunshine...and then, with one last EXTERMINATE, it died.

The CG were much improved on the original Daleks. (Whisks and sink plungers, really).

Poor Doctor. We've got a lot more info now on how the time Lords were, hah, exterminated. When he went all quiet and wouldn't look at the Dalek...*sniff* So the Doctor does seem to be responsible for Gallifrey. No wonder he feels a bit old. Still managed a , 'Fantastic', though. It was lovely to see his glee when the Dalek could EXTERMINATE him. When he realised he was trapped with a Dalek, I think that's the most scared he's been in this series. Natch.

Unfortunately David was taping some 'Making of Lord of the Rings' thing on the other channel, so I cannot rewatch the Daleky goodness.

How did the Dalek feel the Doctor/Rose? :-P Even the Dalek is a shipper in this series, honestly. I am muchly disappointed that they cut out the hugging scene, though. I found a clip of it over on [livejournal.com profile] time_and_chips, but I can't play it; it says it can't download a codec. Waaaaaah!
I think that Mickey has just lost all chance he had of ever getting Rose back again. Rose/Geeky boy, anyone? Should have taken the Doctor up on his offer, Mickey.

YOU WOULD MAKE A GOOD DALEK. That was a shiver down the spine moment, all right. If the Dalek changed, did the Doctor change after Gallifrey? What into? Is it Rose who is preserving his humanity (okay, okay, he not human, but you know what I mean)?

How did the Dalek feel the Doctor/Rose? :-P

Hmm... it absorbed Rose's fear when she touched it, could it have got her memories too? So if Rose believes the Doctor loves her, it would have picked up on that...

I totally agree with you, I can't figure out Roses boyfriends character. First he turns down the Dr and a chance to travel anywhere in time and space. Then he lets his totally hot girl friend take off with his strange guy not once but twice! Come on!

One other bit put me off. Is it me or was the Dr. so ticked off at being tortured that he sent all those soldiers to their deaths? " Give everyone a gun and send them down a bullet might get through" ??? So if they do breech a force field energized by draining all the electricity on the west coast of America, These puny lead bullets might pierce Dolektanium? I mean these guys have been pounding away for who knows how long with diamond drills, Lasers, X ray doohickies without success?

Over all loved the show though.... Oh ummmm couldnt the Dalek just find a way back in time to warn his people? I mean heres the Dr, he does have a Tardis hhhhmmmmmm.
