-First of all, although I originally liked Adam, it is nice to be back with just the Doctor and Rose.
-I felt that there was too much material for one episode. It left me with a handful of questions.

-Rose has been building up her father and her parents' marriage in her mind mind, and she finds that the reality has feet of clay. I liked that. It's realistic.

-The Doctor talking to Baby Rose was adorable. 'And she's not going to destroy the world, then, is she?'
-Ditto Little Mickey. And he ran straight for Rose! However, she seems to have dumped Adult Mickey mentally. Poor boy.

-The Doctor frantically slapping the walls of the TARDIS trying to find his way in was hilarious. Why did that happen, by the way?

-Now we know the key calls the TARDIS. It seemed to be working fine again by then.

-Jackie finally did what the Doctor ordered. Priceless! She doesn't seem to age from 1987 to 2005, either.

-Baby Rose looked less than a year, which she'd have to be to be 19 in 2005. Is the series not set now?

-The voice of Alexander Graham Bell on the phones. How cool was that? It even defeated Rose's superphone. Oh, those 1980s bricks. No wonder Rose's dad was surprised at her phone!

-How utterly naff is the Doctor's jumper??

-The Doctor/Rose has retreated farther back into the land of subtest. Good. "I wouldn't really have left you." Aww.

-How did the bat-things work, exactly? Why were they destroying random people instead of going all-out for Rose's dad? Why did they take the Doctor in the church if the young were more vulnerable? This is where a longer episode would be better.

-Why did Rose take Baby Rose and why didn't the Doctor throw another wobbler about it? Apart from being about to be eaten, I mean.

-Obviously the timeline isn't 'whatever happens stays happened', like Harry seeing himself cast the  Patronus before he'd done it. Rose does end up changing history in a small way by being with her dad as he dies. so the timeframe can suffer a certain amount of change, but not too much. How was the Doctor planning on keeing Rose's dad alive when he had the TARDIS? For someone who misses her dad, Rose seems to have no objection to leaving her mum for extended periods of time.

-Nitpicky: how come Rose's eyes are brown when her parents' are both blue?

Next week's episode looks good. World War Two, yay! Rose seems to have an appropraite haircut :) And am I insane or was that Simon from Blue Peter in the teaser clip?
