I've decided that I ought to read a few more of the SF classics, so I've got Ringworld and Ender's Game out of the library, as well as Cryptonomicon and a couple of things by someone called Alistair Reynolds because you can have 6 out at once.

My sister [livejournal.com profile] elerrina_amanya has now reached Borders of Infinity on her trek through the Vokosigan Saga (I think she started with Warrior's Apprentice, though). Revision, who needs it?

My view: hurry through Ender's Game and linger over Speaker for the Dead. Once you've read that I would love to discuss.

I really ought to read Ringworld someday. Ender's Game was cool though.

I started with Warrior's Apprentice and then jumped straight to A Civil Campaign because those were the two I happened to find in a charity shop. I was hooked, but hopelessly confused.

I'd resisted reading Bujold for years before that due to trying The Spirit Ring and not getting along with it, and having a dim idea that the Vorkosiverse books were Worthy Books About Disability. That'll teach me to make judgments about books without reading them. :p

Mirror Dance was one of the last ones I got - if I'd run into Mirror Dance!Mark early on in my reading I think it might have put me off too.

ACC's the one I re-read most often, I think - followed by Cetaganda, because of the interesting Cetan culture and Ivan cluelessly attempting to rescue kittens. You?

No, I started with Komarr, remember? Specifically, the end of it... But then I tried Shards, flicked enough to get the gist and moved on to Barrayar, which I managed to read in its entirety. Go me.
