owlA couple of Doctor who questions, does anyone know the answers?
1. What year have we got to now in the real-world timeline? I know Rose is a year younger than she should be relative to Jackie and Mickey, but where are they? Is tCI Christmas 06 or 07? (New Earth obviously is some time afterwards, because there are leaves on the trees, unless the preoduction team thought we were all too stupid to notice.)
2. Back in Boom Town, the thing Blon the Slytheen was going to use to get home—what was it called and how did it work? I didn't get that epsiode taped.

Date: 2006-04-28 06:07 pm (UTC)I suspect DW real-time is a bit like HP real time, i.e. contemporary but indeterminate and fandom ascribed, according to dates/events which crop up in canon, but were probably never intended as reference points.
