Buffy the Vampire Slayer
A girl named Buffy Summers lives in a town called Sunnydale. She is a Vampire Slayer; it is a Hellmouth. There are a lot of vampires and other supernatural creatures around. Buffy Slays them, when she doesn't sleep with them (Angel and Spike). She has friends called Willow (a lesbian redheaded Jewish witch) and Xander (a guy). Her Watcher is called Giles and is an Eglish librarian type. He was on Doctor Who the other night. There are various other characters, including Oz, who is a werewolf and was Willow's boyfriend before she found Teh Gay. Buffy's mother dies in the series, (so does Buffy, actually) and at one point Buffy magically acquires a teenage sister called Dawn. And then Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies Sunnydale falls into the San Andreas Fault.

Angel
Buffy's ensouled-vampire ex was so popular they gave him a show of his own. It was cancelled after a few seasons and my flist melted.

Stargate
The US Air Force is in space for some reason. Presumably there is a Gate to the Stars involved somewhere. Characters include Jack, who seems to be the CO, Sam (The Girl), Daniel, who has Teh Specs of Sex, and an alien who looks like a Maori.You can tell he is an alien because he has an Apostrophe of Alien-ness in his name. Which I can't remember.

Lost
There is an island. Possibly a tropical isnland. A plane crashed on it, and the survivors are Lost. So, basically Lord of the Flies with grown-ups, then? It has Merry Dominic Monaghan in it. It takes 7x10^56 million VHS tapes to tape one series., including the one that previously held the finale of last year's Doctor Who. Oh, I got 3x4 hour tapes in Tesco's for £3 (special offer because of the football), and they're going to be David's tape, elerrina_amanya.



The thing is, if I see people talking about something that looks interesting, I'll usually investigate it. That's why I have 4567 fandoms and no life :-P, and am bad at this meme.
