I watched The Runaway Bride again yesterday.



It's really rather fun. Donna isn't quite as bolshie as I remembered her, once she gives up on getting to the church on time. And she has an arc set up for her already; learned to see that there are far more interesting things in the universe than Brangelina and the Atkins diet.

And she can slap Ten when he starts to babble and call him Martian boy and people will assume that they've been married for ten years and that will horrify them both greatly and this could be rather fun, actually. :)

I am doubtful about this year's Christmas special now that I've seen that pic of Kylie's costume (she looks like she's been dressed by an Edwardian fetishist), but perhaps if I assume the worst it won't be as bad as all that.

Perhaps not at 6pm on Christmas Day. Torchwood would be all over it though :)

Thanks for your post. I just found out on the BBC Dr. Who Website that Donna will be back. I agree with you that it will be fun to see her call Ten "Martian Boy."

While I loved Rose and do really like Martha, it is kind of fun to think of at least one companion being a comedian rather than a rock star.

In any event, I am excited to see Ten back in action. It will be difficult to wait until next season.
