Is anyone else sick to the back teeth of Big Brother? Please will it just go away!
I'm also sick of hearing about the Snow Patrol gig in Bangor tomorrow. My younger brother is currently talking of nothing else, and neither is the radio.
indeed, let's all be done with Big Brother now. And Survivor, and whatever other dumb 'vote them off the island' show they come up with.
I like Project Runway/Catwalk and Top Chef because the contestants actually have, like, skills, and how well they do is dependent entirely on how well they employ said skills. So it's more like a really extended, specific gameshow that has nothing to do with trivia.
But the lion's share of reality tv is just silly.
(There's a kerfuffle in Hollywood right now because they've been filming a reality show where children are required to run their own town and do all of the adult jobs that towns have. one girl burned her face while cooking, and it turns out that not only were the kids not being paid (because they're 'participants,' not 'employees'), they were being maltreated and abused. Primary school students. Who's brilliant plan was this?).
