I'm sure by now everyone has seen this.

At least it isn't in the Sun, who have become remarkably good at making predictions. 'Rose searching for the Doctor'? Ugh. Check the credits, Rusty, they don't say 'Tyler Who', do they? Rusty should have been in girlfandom and then he would have made his Mary Sue at the age of 13 and got it over with. He's probably only met boyfandom, who are still busy measuring the TARDIS windows and he thinks he's being wonderfully original by doing what all the girls wrote 20 years ago and then BURNED WITH FIRE because your Sue fantasies are so embarrassing when you grow up. Unless your initials are RTD, apparently.

But what's the point of bringing Rose back if she's just going to be the same as when she left? She's just going to have leave again, because Billie Piper isn't going to stay around DW forever. Unless Rusty decides to end his time on DW with the TARDIS going off into the sunset, Ten and Rose aboard, headed for a mortgage and 2.4 Time Babiez. It hasn't been confirmed that there will be a fifth series, has it? *worries*

Hmm, does that mean Four was in boyfandom? I remember him measuring the TARDIS in Logopolis. :p

Maybe she won't find him? :p

Yes, the fifth series has been confirmed for 2010.

Thing is, even if the rumour's true and they're trying to get her back... 'trying' is the operative word there. There's a Billie interview in this month's Marie Clare where she sounds a wee bit fed up with the whole Doctor Who thing.

Likewise an interview in the Radio Times, in which she said that really she'd moved on" from Rose. I assume it's unlikely to happen.

All these rumours were silly before but now it's bordering on absolutely ridiculous. I wish they would let it go. And if they are true - then it's to hell with DW for me. For a 40 year old show to become so overshadowed by one love-struck teenage girl who was in it for 2 series is just mind-boggling.

I am rather unenthused about this, if it does indeed turn out to be truth and not scuttlebutt. I liked the character of Rose well enough whilst she was there, but as you say, I can't see this arc going anywhere.

Also, even if they do head off and have 2.4 timebabies, I could so do without the Doctor coming back at the beginning of season five with a bad case of 'Woe, Rose has just died of natural causes at the age of two hundred and seven... and I'm going to hang around in 2000s London anyway'

They join the cast of the Sarah Jane Adventures? Which hasn't been too bad so far, though I am bored witless with the Slitheen and wish RTD would leave them be.
