Why cannot I keep hold of my plastic?

I appear to have lost my Boots card. Again.

I was in the shop and I remember holding it in my hand as I walked to the door, but what did I do with it? It's not in my wallet and I've checked my pockets...

I was wearing trainers at the time, actually. :D (Boots is a chain of pharmacies. The card is a loyalty card. I'd already lost the previous one when I dropped my last wallet somewhere.)

Have you got your receipt? Did you fold up the receipt and the card together and put them where you put your receipts rather than where you put yur cards?
is it with the thing you bought? I once found mine in the bathroom cabinet.
