So I just watched the latest episode of Numb3rs, Checkmate. (The one where Charlie does the FBI training thing). I was cringing for Charlie being so useless at it.I'm surprised that Don didn't say, "On no account, for the sake of the instructor's sanity and the safety of all innocent bystanders within a mile's radius, and I really really mean this, DON'T LET HIM DRIVE."
I did like Don's face appearing through the haze of pain. I bet that happened a few times when they were in school, especially considering that a minute later Don's channelling his inner twelve-year-old with his advice to Charlie. Charlie has got to have been practising since he first used a gun in the sniper episode, he can't be that good on is second go. I know his aim in general (basketball, frisbee golf, darts) is a lot better than some of his other physical skills, but he's no Annie Oakley. Also, Charlie, even if it is only a paintgun, you want not to point it at people accidentally. He was looking very pretty this episode, though.
Oh, and Don? No fair to make comments about handcuffs and your brother in front of his girlfriend AND YOUR DAD. C'mon, you can't tell me Donnie wasn't aware of the innuendo there.
I am dubious about the chess code (how did the FBI know which square represented which gang?), but I loved the geek squad each insisting they were 'positive' it was three different openings. Which of them got it right, actually? I thought Charlie first, then I thought Amita.
It's all over the internet and even on Radio 1, JKR is up against Lexibook in court. I love the charts of JKR material versus tiny little bars of original material (here; scroll down to the end). I hope the smack-down that is applied to RDR causes a small earthquake
