The best-laid plans...

Things that I meant to do over the course of the long weekend and didn't:

-Organise the music on my laptop

-Read The Players and the Rebels, my copy of which arrived on Friday, yay.

-Write my fic for the summer challenge on numb3rs_het, which is due for the 31st (I did, however, finish my O fic for the Summer Alphabet Challenge over on Fanrush; expect it shortly.)

I also still have not found the Windows installation CDs and documentation for the laptop. I've looked everywhere I can think of in this house and they aren't here. I think my parents must have them, but my mother says she doesn't remember. This is whatcomes of tidying things up, sigh. They could have lived under my sofa quite happily for the next three years.

Do I gather that it's good? I don't know why we are dithering about ordering it. Well, economy would be one reason - plus a sort of reluctance to risk disappointment
