owlNot a wild lot of excitements happening lately. I went up to see Denise on Saturday. We thought of seeing a film, but we took a while to eat dinner and all the ones we would have liked to see were very late or we'd already missed them. So we went out for coffee instead. Denise wanted me to try chai tea, but I didn't risk it and had a mocha latte instead.
The apples in the orchard are ripe, and we had tarts, although I think they had to be a mixture of cookers and eaters. Rather nice though!
I went up to Castlewellan yesterday and ate with the Somervilles. I walked around with Gillian and we talked. I think we're both feeling a bit old lately, because there are so many people we think of as little kids who are now taller than we are. Also got new mugshots taken. They really aren't bad. May icon one.
