I take it that this is the Irish summer. Blizzard one week and sunglasses the next.

I remember remarking to marymac in the autumn that I hadn't got much use out of my light scarves, as the weather went straight from 'light jacket' to 'coat, woollen cap, scarf and gloves'. The same thing seems to have just happened in reverse.

Outside the City Hall there is a memorial with candles and a Polish flag. Ten years ago I doubt you'd have found many people in Belfast who could find Poland on a map; how things have changed.
