RotK again

katsaris has reviewed RotK and said all what I felt was wrong with it better than I could have.
Did anyone else be reminded of Anakin's death in RotJ when Theoden was dying?
Eowyn: I've got to save you!
Theoden: You already did...
Me: You were right about me. Tell your sis-uh, brother, you were...in the wrong film.

There was another SW reference/coincidence I picked up on, but cannot remember. I think Aragorn was the perpetrator. Anyone else notice anything like that?

I made a new icon, featuring Luke Skywalker giving out characterisation tips, but apparently on a Mac all the words are smushed together. Can everyone see it ok? Carol and Sue liked it greatly, but emmi_girl didn't. Ah, these L/M shippers :-P

As I have yet to see RotK, I can hardly venture an opinion on it. Though, I've heard all about it. The death of Theoden so sounds like the Anakin's passing. lol

I can see the icon fine. I love it! You ever want to loan it out, keep me in mind. lol I think it's great.

Yep. At one point Gandalf's bemoaning how Frodo may not still be alive, and Aragorn says "What does your heart tell you?"

I couldn't help but snigger at Theoden's death scene - it's a shame; it probably would have been moving if it weren't for the blatant Anakin rip-off. So PJ not only has to butcher one fantasy icon, he has to rip from another too! ;)

That line of Aragorn's was in the trailer, so I've been scoffing at it for a while - I was like "come on, even PJ's not enough of a dumbass to know most of the people who see LOTR have seen the SW movies and will recognize this..." guess not. ;)

Is the icon the animated OOC-Luke one? (Which is very cute, btw. :)) If so, then it's working fine for me.

Hey, the icon is nice. But Luke would marry someone who wanted to kill him years ago and has been his friend ever since. ;-) (JMO, of course.)

I'm not using a mac but it looks fine to me. Perhaps a little too fast to read easily but I don't mind staring at Luke while it goes round a couple of times :)
