I feel utterly...flattened.

Anakin Skywalker, you are the biggest plonker in the history of plonkerism. Or possibly that might be Obi-Wan. Gaaah!!

I liked the fight in the Senate Chamber. Palpatine smashing up the fabric of democracy, in visuals. Also, the scene with Padmé and Bail in the Senate. Why was everyone so enthusiastic about the new empire? I don't think there was enough politics in there. I missed seeing Mon Mothma and the start of the Rebellion. Hopefully it will be on the DVD—is it in the screenplay? They could have cut out some of the Grievous stuff for that.

Yoda was great. No silly Order 66 can stop him! Also, seeing Chewie was good.

The Anakin/Padmé scenes were so sad to watch when you know what's coming later. Hayden and Natalie seemed very comfortable acting together this time around. *sniff*

The scenes with the twins going to their new homes nearly defeated my hither-to tearless eyes. Alderaan was particularly sad, considering ANH. And Owen and Beru standing on the same spot as Luke in ANH and Anakin in AotC...

I don't hate Obi-Wan as much as I expected to after seeing the film. Still REALLY DON'T LIKE him, though.

That's so funny, because after ROTS? I have a whole new appreciation for Obi Wan. I mean, I always "repected" him--I mean Alec Guinness and Ewan McGregor make it impossible not to--but I didn't *really* care either way about the character. I felt I didn't know him at all. This movie I felt gave us a new insight into him. And it makes that scene in his hut with Luke all the more poignant or something.

I dunno. I'm still not articulate.
