I am so tired of politics

I was actually slightly surprised to hear that the Democratic primary is over; it had got to the point where it seemed like it had been going on FOREVER and there was no reason why it shouldn't continue indefinitely. I'm glad our election campaigns are so much shorter or I would be driven insane.

I honestly don't remember the last time I turned on the news and there wasn't some mention of the primary. They were talking about the primaries even before it all "officially" began. I really wish we could just vote tomorrow and be done with it all already.

I don't know how you Americans stand it. It's like a quarter of the time is taken up with getting someone into office, and it's as regular as clockwork, so you can see it coming. We only have a few weeks of campaigning, and it drives me mad as it is.

Like I said above... this isn't the norm. This is the strangest primary season I've ever seen.
