I liked this one. Glad that the issue with the slavery of the Ood was addressed after the Doctor ignoring it in series 2.
The episode felt rather old-school Who to me, anyone else getting that?
I liked Donna stepping out of the TARDIS, going 'It's freezing!' and dashing back inside for a parka and missing the Doctor's inspirational speech. And her not being able to hear him mirroring her not being about to hear the Ood song later.
And he's so pleased that it's finally real snow, bless!
Alien planet = Giant big quarry with snow, heh.
Oooh, stethoscope! Did he swipe it from Martha?
Dr and Mrs Noble. Heheheh.
I liked the Doctor doing the telepathy thing with Donna like he did with Reinette. And that she couldn't bear the song and asked him to take it away, and then realised that he can still hear it...
Donna saying that you can't help but be peaceful when you're holding your brain in your hands. Go, Donna!
The characters from the corporation were all dull and unpleasant and I just wanted them all to die and get it over with, but the brain eating the Friends of the Ood spy was a bit yucky.
Everyone's song must end? Oh, dear, do I sense a regeneration approaching? Or, worse, are they going to kill off Donna?
"I don't know right from wrong any more" Oh, Donna, and you've only been travelling with him for two episodes. Please don't go all floppy on us now!
Next week we get Martha! Doesn't look like Donna's too impressed with the Doctor's job recommendation, then.
