Feb. 16th, 2004 06:26 pmIt's not the pink hoodie and the rainbow belt that bother me (although hoodies of that kind only came into fashion in the late 90s over here, and you wouldn't have seen them in 1993). I can live with the hoodie. It isn't even the shorter, smoother-curled hair.
It's the blonde.
When I look at these PoA publicity stills, I don't see Hermione Granger, swotty, opinionated, bushy-haired, brunette teenage witch; I see Emma Watson, well-groomed, fashion-conscious, precociously sexy teenage actress. My disbelieve remains stubbornly unsuspended.
